Instructions- Preferences

Filterfish has several preferences that are found in the iPhone/iPad System preferences. First look for the Filterfish icon amongst others in your preferences.

PREFERENCES

1. Set the max number of text displays

- Change the number of space balls that show textual information (name, organization and so on).

NOTE: Rendering text is the slowest aspect of animation given the high number of complex curves particularly in Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters. Older 3G devices need a lower number.

Instructions - Buttons/Search

There are three buttons to push, + > and -> (Add, Play and flip). The search bar opens up the keyboard.

SEARCH BAR

The search bar is a major component to Filterfish. It provides the text and scope for a filter.

1. Opening up search

- Single-Tap the search bar to activate the filter function which pops up the keyboard.

- Type in any alpha-numeric character to filter all your contacts by this character.

Instructions - Finger gestures

Your fingers are important factors in Filterfish.

FINGER FUNCTIONS

1. Opening the contact information

- Single-Tap a spaceball will open that particular contact information.
